I cannot believe this. You guys are telling me that the 1000's of times I have posted and that the 10's of 1000's of posts that I have read has all been for nothing.

            That's probably the saddest part.

              I'm pretty sure he is.

              In one sense anyway.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

But to determine that he's a blagger from it? I just think that dismisses everything he's done to this point, but if thats your opinion then fair enough.

And yes, the thread is for discussion, isn't that what we were doing?

I think that's really a bit unfair and totally missing how a tv programme like this is going to be put together. They're spreading the personal focus a lot among our players but quite obviously the overarching narrative of the 6 episodes was going to be Rodgers start at the club, and at any football club the manager is the figurehead, the one who gets the plaudits when things go right and who takes the blame when things go wrong. I don't think at all that you'd expect him to have had a history of success with the way he's been shown, and to expect them to have shown him in any different light is a bit silly.

Hearing Spearing talk about how much he clearly loves the club makes me want him to succeed. It's refreshing.

Maybe its just me, but cutting through some of the inevitably American audience focused stuff I'm quite enjoying this series and don't see some of the negative stuff others have talked about. People are getting a bit down on Rodgers imo mainly because the results so far this season on the pitch haven't matched the good game he talks, but that's football and to me doesn't make him a blagger any more than having won most of our league games so far would make him the messiah.

Overall I'm enjoying Being: Liverpool more than I thought I would and am quite interested to see how the transfer window stuff is dealt with in the next episode.

Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                    Mine angry and defrauded young?

I have enjoyed the series and especially the behind the scenes from the dressing room before , during and after the matches.

I am also looking forward to how the transfer window closing is dealt with.
