Didn't Carroll get injured straight off playing in the first game after his move? Was that his hamstring?
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

I think people are reading way to much into this program. It seems every scene has been analysed.

i agree with alex, although brenny and the jets did mention to jonjo that when lucas and allen were both fit he'd move gerrard to the wing to accomodate them as shaggy and i said he would

I also wonder how many times especially as an established player you could sit through one of his team talks before you switched off and sensed bull****ter. He's Mr cliche.
Snidy or shrewd? Would you want to risk injury to a player you are trying to flog for £20m?

Regarding cliches, its what football managers do. Football cliches stem from managers. If you had a camera in any british-managed dressing room in the country, you would hear similar cliches.

                    I disagree.

Certain scenes have been analysed. That is it.

The inner workings of training sessions and match preperation are on TV. What on earth do you expect?
                    Oh I don't know.

                      Yes, I think he did.

The point I was making was in regard to the contrast in Rodger's body language and manner towards the players that were in his plans, or those who were not. It may be an obvious point, and I may be over-analysing it (Alex), but I found it interesting.

My para-phrasing of his quote was meant in jest, just in case anybody took that the wrong way too.
                      Oh I don't know.

I think part of the point is that you don't really get to see the context. Any program is going to be edited to form a narrative, however how things work in reality is often more complex. I'm not sure that this does give you the evidence needed to make meaningful judgements. On the flip side we were inviting such analysis when we agree to have the programme filmed.
