the result was good, but it was also refreshing to see players movement looking much better. rather than standing where the markers are on the trainers white board they actually moved and covered for each other, with some good crossing of positions. good to see, and about time. lets hope this wasnt a blip.
some of the passengers looked like they wanted a go driving the bus for a change, which was nice.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

right so henderson and carroll were 2 of our better players tonight and by all accounts played really well. thats 2 of the 3 signings that kenny has been hung out to dry on right? now a few of us have suggested that next season these same players could come good. perhaps patience could be the answer instead of bandwagon jumping.
Who's been worse this season? Reina, Carroll, Henderson or Downing? Considering how good Reina was, his fall from grace has outdone Downings poor form this year imo since we all knew Downings limitations. Reina lets more in than he saves. At fault for the first chelsea goal on saturday and didn't even dive properly for the second. he didn't even get close. he's been average and though his character is great he needs to sort his fat arse out this summer.
pleased for shelvey who I didn't rate. still think the pace thing will stop him getting to where he should be but he can still be a very good player for years to come. thats another player that the manager was playing a lot last year and many were questioning.Always borrow money from a pessimist. Can't blame the fans for the way they feel. It has been a very disappointing season.

It's got nothing to do with negativity. You have to understand that although we had a stormer of a game today, there were - even today (just after half-time up until 55th/60th minute) - sub-standard performances where we were very static. I thought it might creep in again today at the aforementioned minutes, but throughout the season we just didn't all play for each other and move around as a unit and that has been a problem which is why many people are dissatisfied and I think, given our league position, it's a valid argument. The only player i have had a problem with is Downing. Over priced and hasn't delivered.
Henderson i think will go on to be a great player for us.
Shelvey i believe will also be a great player for us.
Adam will do as a squad player.
Carroll is now showing his true qualities, i know it's a bit late but it looks like he has recovered from injuries and whatever else his problem was.Comment
