Every player was ****ing brilliant tonight.

Loving Carroll since the turn of the year.

Shelvey and Henderson ran the show.

I've been harsh on Carra recently but he was good tonight.

Why can't we play like that every week? Or, given how we've played for a majority of the season why aren't we higher up the league?

    Penalties need looking into though.

And that's without Lucas and Gerrard.

Think some need to have a bit more patience and more faith in our team.....we have destroyed some good teams this season and come away with 0 points.....we've hit more wood than George Michael......the refs have been poor most games and the FA are ballbags....Oh and we have missed one of the best DM in the league since November....I have every confidence that next year WILL be better and have faith in the only manager who has won us a title in the last 25 years...

to be honest on this seasons form and part of last season's would we notice the difference? seriously?

Reina from a while back was great. but he's been in decline for a while now. I don't blame him, others have come and gone and he's stagnated. he probably deserves more. I wouldn't begrudge him a move if he asked for one.

I actually like Robinson and think he's a better shot stopper. he is prone to a gaff or two but then which keeper isn't? his kicking isn't as accurate although he does kick further. Keepers traditionally get better with age. He has plenty of experience.

He wouldn't be in my top 5 replacements though. But if he cost relatively little and we got a few quid for reina (if very big if he wants to leave) then we can spend money elsewhere.

Keeper is a hard one to get right. I hope Reina stays and sorts himself out. I just want the old Reina, the penalty saver.

Just come back in here after reading the Reina story on the news page on this site.
He'll be gutted with the way he performed against Chelsea on Saturday.

Good result, good performance. Sick of people on their high horse on here saying certain fans are 'Gutted we lost'.. We call it how we see it, just because we're critical when we're poor doesn't mean we don't praise when we're good. It's a lot easier to play when the pressure is off though anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded. Thing is, the season is played 99% of the season under pressure, its a mentality.

People are quick to point out Torres only scores when Chelsea are winning and that's a very similar thing. Carroll showed he has the ability tonight, he needs to take that attitude into pre season and possibly the Euro's. Downing is our only 'disaster' so to speak because he's been the worst out of the lot and he's too old to adjust or grow a set of bollocks.

1 game, 1 result doesn't change a season that's 38 games long.. There is something there to be worked on though definitely. 3 good players and we'll see a world of difference.

and a 2 inch wider and 2 inch taller goal will help too...

I'd leave the decision upto Kenny, if he feels he can take us forward then he stays.

I'm worried though that if we do spend big and fail again, the owners might not want to part with as much money in future.
