Anyone blaming FSG for this season is in denial. Commolli and Kenny's atrocious transfer activity is the root cause of what's happened this season.

        Wholesale changes needed.

        Revolution not evolution.
        We come not to play.

          What, we had a game?

Was meaningless to be honest, but we must have been bad because ive seen people saying we haven't played that bad all season.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Net spend of £35m isn't good enough but I agree we shouldn't hve finished 50pts off.
              Are we winning?

It's entirely possible that Kenny could spend big and we'd end up worse. If some of our better players want to go then we're in for a bumpy ride.

                        silverware guys!

                        we won the Carling cup...

seriously I dont know what to make of this season. we beat soe good teams and we lost and drew aagainst alot of weaker teams. What the hel does that say?

we are moving forward or backwards?

I know Dalglish is a legend, but its difficult to justify a manager who has a glorious history twenty years ago and has not really succeeded since on a level palying field ie Newcastle and Celtic.

I have to ask myself. If he had a magic wand to make us great again, Wouldnt he have waved it already?
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

115 million in the space of 7 months with a net spend of 35 million. That should have been enough to at least finish in the top 5/6 especially when you look at what Spurs, Arsenal and Newcastle spent last summer.

It's as if some people think it's not real money.

The "net spend" argument only comes into play when a team needs strengthening, but also loses some vital players, so the vital players need replacing on top of the improvement that was already needed. In our situation we lost our centre-forward - Torres - but we also received more than enough to replace him with, and we spent big in doing that (signing Carroll).
