All this net spend talk is just an excuse.
Newcastle finished 4 points off 4th place, what was their net spend ?
Arsenal have qualified for the CL 15 seasons in a row. Their combined net spend over the last 6 years is lower than any other club in the PL and that includes the likes of Swansea and Norwich.
We've spent atrociously. End of.

You clearly have not read the FFP rules very carefullyOriginally posted by Havors View PostFFP means absolutely jack ****. Its a complete waste of time. All a sugar daddy has to do is build a training ground or stadium and sponsor it with a company he owns or is connected to for exactly what he wants to spend on players and wages and bang! all sorted.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Liverpool FC manager Kenny Dalglish responded angrily to suggestions he may not be in charge next season after his side’s disappointing Barclays Premier League campaign ended with a 1-0 defeat at Swansea.
Reports in some Sunday newspapers had suggested that Kenny Dalglish would leave the manager’s position during the summer, with Wigan boss Roberto Martinez being tipped as the man to replace him.
After watching Danny Graham’s 100th career goal condemn them to an eighth-placed finish, Dalglish was asked if he expected to be in the Liverpool FC hot seat next season.
He replied: "I expect the owners to have more dignity and integrity than to believe a story in a newspaper."link

What does that quote mean? Surely if Kenny is going then it's the owners that will be pulling the trigger, so he's saying he expects the owners to have more dignity and integrity than to believe a story in a newspaper about themselves? Or does the story imply that Kenny is going of his own volition, and Kenny is saying the owners would be stupid to believe such nonsense?Originally posted by Bender View PostLiverpool FC manager Kenny Dalglish responded angrily to suggestions he may not be in charge next season after his side’s disappointing Barclays Premier League campaign ended with a 1-0 defeat at Swansea.

This isn't knee jerk. I am totally supportive of the manager but I really did not expect us to lose today after the midweek result. It's just ****e, totally ****e. I don't care if Swansea are playing well, our players on our twice their wages therefore should be twice as good/ determined/ skilful or whatever you want to call it. ****ing terrible

There was never going to be much in it. Unfortunately for us they got it.
