    Abortion of a season.

We went into this season with no ****ing plan as evident from our ****ty purchases, letting perfectly good players leave and inconsistent style of play.
52 points, lowest ever total since 1981 when they switch to 3 points a win. No replacements in Jan even though we knew Lucas was out for the season, not blooding in youngsters even through the season was basically over.

As a team, Carling Cup was fine, FA Cup run a bonus, but the PL was simply sub standard slop due to terrible finishing and a sh1t midfield defensively and offensively (I was offended!).

I echo the "Bring back Rafa" brigade which I never thought I would. He "might" turn this round, I don't think KK can and Comoli the fall guy is the only reason KK may stay in charge. Rudderless.

FSG - what is happening with the stadium??!

Winning the Carling cup in a manner I deemed to be completely unacceptable.
            Oh I don't know.

                What a head **** of a season.

I was going to say 'I'm glad it's over', but if Roy defies logic and gets England performing, I'm gonna retreat in to my shell.

But other than that, we've got a very important summer ahead; we can't afford to carry any more passengers and we need a mixture of youth and experience. If Kuyt and Maxi are gone, we need to replace them adequately as well as strengthening the first team in the areas everybody knows.

Kenny is right for me going forward and we need to act quickly. Early start to the season for the Europa League qualifiers on the back of the Euro's, so an early pre-season were I would like our team be together for the majority of it.

52 points without the 'distraction' of Europe is a terrible return. Allied to poor transfers and poor team selections, this adds up to a change of Manager required.

No doubt next season's early start will be blamed if we are served up more of the same.

Not sure what your point is - there wasn't a comma in the comment in which I said the midfield wasn't great defensively or offensively? Wasn't good enough, including Pepe. I could single out individual performances which were good in single games, but other than Skrtel (who was clear player of the season), the rest should be disappointed in themselves.

                      Worse moment of the Season.

                      The Lucas Injury

                      Highlight of the Season.

                        you mean 3-2 right?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Worst season i can remember in a long long time. The CC win was nice but all in all it as been a shambles from start to finish. The killer was not getting in a replacement for Lucas in jan. That and the Suarez situation have cost us dear IMO.

Heads should roll for the way the Suarez situation was handled alone never mind the season as a whole. Ayre should be made to step down IMO.

Whichever way you want to look at it, the prize money for the CC final is about 1 million quid. The prize money for the FA cup is **** knows 2 million quid if that.

The prize money for CL qualification (ie. the first game you actually play in the 3rd round qualifications) is more than 3 millions quid.

                              Go. ****ing. Figure.

It's nice to have the CC in the bag, but in terms of business revenue, it's ****ing nothing. You might as well sell a couple of shirts more in Malaysia and be better off.

This season has been a complete shambles and I'm really looking forward to see how this summer pans out.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone think that shop windowing our players all the way throughout pre-season could have contrbuted to us going off the boil later in the season.

Saw that suggested elsewhere and wondered what you lot thought.
