    I think that's clear.
    Ahhhhhhh I see , I think.

The question is why are some fans opposed to him? I suspect the only ones who are are those who want Rafa back. I don't see any other options floating around apart from those mentioned. Who did you expect us to get?

No manager walks in there given their financial limitations and turns them into world beaters. Big clubs have money to buy the best players and managers look great because they have great players. The car analogy is to say-- sometimes the tools you're given set the limits of your capabilities. With great tools, perhaps he could be great? It's a risk, but any new manager is a risk. Even Kenny failed with our players and his CV is insane. Perhaps the limitations of his employer are not the parameters of his ability ?
            Valencia aren't a HUGE club - Benitez
            Porto aren't either - Mourinho & AVB
Dortmund are better placed but not bigger than us - Klopp
            Bilbao - Beisla

There is a gulf from those at good clubs proving to be good managers to Wigan and Swansea.. Its a much bigger risk.

Its not like people are asking for Mourinho from Madrid and the Guardiola links are retarded.

Where was Klopp before he led Dortmund to two titles?

I'd agree it seems that way.. I also want Rafa back BUT only because he's the best available to us IMO, he's willing to come back because he love the club.

My reason for not wanting Martinez is I don't want to be back to this in 1 or 2 years time. We're getting a man in that has done well and managed to survive, not based on balanced performances over the course of a season. But providing late escape tricks, which may equally be down to the players.

To me there is the top class of manager, proven winners at the top level.

                                Mourinho
                                Guardiola
                                Ferguson

Then those who have blemishes against them even at top level but still proved they're up to it.

                                Capello
                                Rafa
                                AVB
                                Van Gaal

Next the proving themselves still and looking really really promising at a good level.

                                Klopp
                                Beisla

We then skip the, done it at a poorer level over a period of time.. This includes

                                Moyes
                                Pardew

And we hit the level of promising but really unproven at any kind of level we can compare to our situation.

                                Rodgers
                                Martinez

In each of those groups I have my favourites but on managerial ability ALONE I'd never choose someone from what is to me a lower class. Obviously Moyes and Fergie have other issues and they are who they are.
