Who could have vetoed any "off strategy" transfer deals? Ayre
Who oversaw the Suarez debacle? Ayre
Who promoted Comolli? Ayre
Who declared that our "preferred" stadium option was to build on land we don' t own? Ayre

Who has paid the price for inflated transfer deals, transfers whch havent worked out, no progress on a stadium and the Suarez affair? Err, everyone apart from Ayre.

Still, at least FSG have laid "solid foundations".

The guy is the MD and runs the club in the owners absence. He is responsible for the success and failures on his watch. I just don't think he is p to running the club we need strong leadership who know how to run a football club. He should just concentrate on the commercial side of things.

he should have stepped up to the plate during the Suarez affair but look what happened there. it was allowed to get out of control and damaged the clubs reputation. He is trusted with the day to day running of the club.

Agree with the Suarez stuff, but it's absolute bollocks about the other stuf ie Kenny's and Comolli's shortcomings.

That is one thing we all agree on mate. All i am saying is so far he has not lived up to his responsibility. if the owners are looking at the entire structure of the club Ayre himself has made some massive errors.

I would think it normal that an MD would react to a PR error by replacing the comms director, which might be what he did. Just seems like a lot of severe criticism based on assumptions to me. Not saying he's not a dick, or not a failure, but I don't think I can know from the outside.

I didn't say Kenny and Comolli are blameless far from it mate . Everyone at the club from the players, management and MD are to blame for the cluster**** of a season we have had.
