Not a lot we can do if he wants to stay at Dortmund though is there. Saying that, we do have proven candidates who are interested - both Rafa and Van Gaal would take the job (in my opinion), so I don't really buy all this talk about how far we've fallen. The owners are 'choosing' to take us in a different direction.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostKlopp? Fantasy land. The type we would normally consider par for the course mind.K ris90210

I do t think we have a ****in clue what's going on
Maybe FSG want LVG as manager and a Martinez / Rodgers as a no2 to learn the ropes....we just don't fockin know..... If LVG was going to be tech director though, then surely he will be the guy that hires the head coach?
With Rodgers, I think a lot will tell if swansea sign Sigurdsson this week....they've agreed a fee so if he doesnt sign in a day or two, then I reckon that BR is a genuine candidate....the fact that him and Clarkey know each other as well would suggest that he is a possibility (as would AVB up to a few days ago)
Can't wait till its sorted
I think if we were in **** creek, then Kenny would have let on when he got the bullet but he told the fans to get behind FSG (although he was still probably waiting for the cheque to clear into his account)

in the short term i don't really think they are concerned with who is worried unless they are employed in management at lfc.
tbh i don't think kenny was sacked solely because of the poor performance. i think unless kenny had done incredibly well, he just wasn't really their guy and they were always going to be looking again.dave of mutilation

Disagree on that coz they would've given him one year rolling contract rathen than what they actually gave him which was 3-year contract.
Exceptionally poor PL season was the one and only reason for Kenny being gone and the same destiny will hold for the next manager unless he can improve drastically over the last year results.Last edited by Mostar; 28-05-12, 03:41 AM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I think in there eyes he was a stop gap,I suspect the difference between a football man in his 60s and an extremely bright football man in his late / early 40s would be worlds apart I think. They seem to have an ultra modern approach to sport which if you think about it is highly appropriate considering that is the way training and coaching has gone overall. We need to be clinical top to bottom and we need someone who can slot into the club they intend to build.
In my humble opinion .... well i am not humble but you get the point .... which is correct incidentally and probably the best opinion on this site today

I think the Suarez situation and general PR where massive factors in FSG's decision in canning KennyOriginally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postin the short term i don't really think they are concerned with who is worried unless they are employed in management at lfc.
