Swansea do play a sterile game though. We created far more than them but we do have better players.

Also doesn't give you an indication on the quality of chances. For example our figures may have included a few that in reality were from Carra playing it out from the back.Originally posted by NigelLG View PostSwansea do play a sterile game though. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I'm a little disappointed with the appointment of Rogers to be completely honest, that is if it materializes of course.
I did like the way that Swansea played, and it was exciting to watch, however he did not develop the style of play single handedly, and therefore it is a very big gamble to take him on considering his previous record.
It has been a bit of a wake up call in recent months, as much as it breaks my heart to say it we seem to argue armed solely with history, whilst our rivals have a lot more ammunition with recent success.
I am praying that whoever the manager turns out to be, he gets the full support and can somehow attract footballing class, along with a good footballing philosophy that will not take a matter of years to implement, to get us back up there competing.
