Of all his the Swansea players I'd like to see Nathan Dyer here he's a good player and would inject some pace.

I'd also like us to make a move for Yohan Cabaye maybe to sit in front of Lucas as he's technically a very good player, very good in possession and has a decent eye for goal. He's also a fearless little ****er and a bit of a **** and we need that in our team.

It will be interesting to see who he has his eyes on.
Mike Ashley will want 20m for him though

I am very excited to see not only who he brings in, but also looking forward to seeing who he gets rid of, not having any emotional ties or playing certain players to justify big fees can only be a positive

I dont know the cost implication, but could this be a short term solution and when Brendan turns us into a premier league and european force again people actually will want to start watching us again and we can look at it again?

LCC now distancing themselves from this speculation.

Why only the next 10 years?

It would be the club paying the hundreds of millions for the stadium mate. And as Ayre has said, for an extra 15,000 seats it would take us decades* to break even. A new, shiny stadium sounds good, but think about the history at Anfield mate. Money can't buy that. If we can get a 60,000 seater stadium for a fraction of the cost AND stay at Anfield then it has to be win-win.

A new stadium would be a HUGE drain on resources as well. I'd rather see as much money as possible pumped into the transfer kitty myself.

Seems a little bit too detailed to be made up. I'd be surprised if there was nothing in it.

              An interesting point.

                I hope so.

It's getting the balance right, we could borrow money to the detriment of team investment and end up playing in the lower leagues. We need a realistic solution, expansion or groundsharing may be the only viable options. I want to see a bigger capacity stadium to increase revenues to enable greater investment in the team. The expansion of Anfield seems like the best option to achieve those objectives.

Much happier with the prospect of expanding Anfield than building an identikit bowl with no soul.

Sigurdson is a big yes. He could really be a long term replacement for Gerrard as like Gerrard, he has a blistering shot from distance.

Not sure about the others. Sinclair and Dyer are better than the wingers we have but I think we could do much better if we scour the European market. Actually he I'd take Dyer.

Joe Allen is a very, very good player. Still young, homegrown and will only get better. Miles better than Henderson in my opinion

I'd rather have Affelay than Sinclair or Dyer, would probably go cheaper too.

Allen and Sigurdsson for me. If anyone.

Just like Kenny made the players look better after taking over from the Hodge I think Rodgers will improve them again.
We have the nucleus for his 4-3-3 and how he likes it played. I also think that Sterling is very similar to Sinclair so he could feature a lot more
