I'd go along with that, if Garcia is fit I'd play him instead of Pennant for such a big game but I do think Pennant needs a few games, he's not as bad as he's been playing this season and needs a run to build his confidence.
Pennant doesn't even look like he's trying to me. That's the difference between him and Gonzalez - who looks like he may be trying too hard.
However, I've a feeling that Rafa will play Sami alongside Carra at the back and possibly put Zenden in midfield and push Garcia behind Kuyt instead of Crouch.
I think it would be a mistake to go there and be defensive.
We need Crouch and Kuyt up front to keep possession and create/score goals.
If you give Arsenal enough of the ball they will score, so 2 up front is a must for me
Not sure that a makeshift holding player against Arsenal is such a great idea. It is a very specialist position in my opinion. Neither of the two mentioned players are really capable of doing a one for one swap with Momo as they simply aren't that mobile and athletic.

The team i'd like to pick is:
__________Reina
Finnan, Carra, Agger, Riise
_____Alonso____ Zenden
Garcia___Gerrard___Gonzales
_________Kuyt
With Gerrard and Garcia being flexable between the two positions. I think Agger is better suited to the Gunners because he is quicker than Sammi and more responsive which we will need for their movement and passing.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

4-4-2? With Gerrard on the wing or Bolo out wide?
Im not sure if id start with two strikers against the gunners, as they will be playing with alot of runners from midfield, id stick one up front to start with anyway and look to break down the sides. I have a feeling Rafa may well start with Pennant.
