Anything is possible if we start off like we finished last season. We've had an upheaval of sorts and have lost some key players without replacing them.
      Are we winning?

I think we're on our own Deano.

I can't remember, but it makes absolutely no difference either way.

I think Gerrard scored in a CL qualifier.

                Twice in a 2-0 win.

Fredo don't be a plonker. Who have we lost who actually made a contribution last season? When we were ****e admittedly, but nowhere near relegation level ****e.

i can see the point of fredoing in this case. if you expect that we'll get relegated, and we slip a place and finish 9th, hey! that's like 10 places higher than we thought we might!

Ah perhaps Cisse was Rafa's first Anfield scorer?

Nope Cisse scored the goal in the opener against spurs in the first league game which we drew I think..
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

At white hart lane, and Defoe got the equalizer if I remember correctly.

A win is a win inspite of the ****e display.
Second leg we will batter them at Anfield.

Win is a win. The players were absolutely knackered and it showed. Poor performance which was expected given their energy levels. I think in all fairness the players should be given credit for sticking at it when things were going against them.

That said, it would have not been a good start under Rodgers had we lost. First win in under him if I'm right?

Sadly though, I do agree with some of the comments on here. Some of our players are not at the level where we aspire to be and things will take time under Rodgers.

What LFC truly lack is enough quality going forwards. The top teams have a number of players who can step forwards and produce the goods when the team as a whole is playing badly.

I know Downing did that for us tonight, I think he is capable of producing but I thought that last year and he never really did. Time for those players to start producing.
                              Forwards.......

Kuyt and Maxi. We haven't replaced them yet.
