I didn't watch or have any interest in watching this game at all. I had an occassional look in the thread to see what was happening. I really hope my interest picks up when the season starts for real but to be honest after seeing the attitude of the people involved in the olympics whether its ruinning, horse dancing, jumping or cycling or any of the sports, its puts footballers to shame. Most footballers are overpaid cunts. They don't deserve our respect. This isn't the game I fell in love with 30 odd years ago.

Anyway, by the comments tonight, it sounds like we showed signs of promise. Thats got to be good. I'm sure as soon as the utd game comes round, my blood will boil and it'll be another season of heartache and anger.

one of the problems is that rodgers isn't a bloke that its easy to take too. I find him smug, fat and he talks way too much. if he's the real deal then fair enough, we'll all forgive him anything. I'm like the person at the beach in october that is preparing to dip his toe in. Whereas you lot have already started paddling. Then there's a few mad cunts that have dived in head first!

Good game last night, controlled it from start to finish, and it looks like the first team players have found eachother pretty quickly in the new system. Especially because many have been away untill a couple of weeks ago.

There is something to build on here, get Allen in for more depth in CM, and 1-2 attacking options that can play wide and it looks like a good squad to me.
