Not a big team anymore. No 50/50 decisions from ref and Olsen with 2 GBHs but not evem a card. Hard to play against that. Sloppy and casual all round.

I can't remember a worse start for a new Liverpool manager.

Rodgers made a good impression by saying the right things but it's only results that matter. This is a disastrous start. He has no experience at this level and needs to learn quickly.

I won't blame Rodgers. I think with a little tweaking (goalscorer) we could have been better than last season without the overhaul. Now the seeds have been sown we've got to face the fact that it's not going to be an instant improvement.

we should of played better today though against a WBA side who are also in transition with a new manager and have had as many managers in the last 3 years as us
