I was one of Seb’s biggest advocates for him to start the game but I don’t think it would be right not to mention that he was a bit shaky for the first 15 minutes or so, and Martin Kelly deserves praise for putting himself about on that side of the pitch, flying into tackles and coming inside for headers – it was a big help and allowed Seb to find his feet before any catastrophes occurred. He grew in confidence as the game wore on and became more decisive, so after surviving a pressure packed outing against the reigning champions hopefully he will carry on where he left off when he makes his next start as the no. 3 centre back (should be against Hearts).
