The idea of Borini as our 2nd best striker is really starting to worry me, more than it did yesterday.

I don't understand why Rodgers is playing him wide?
Suarez naturally drifts on from the left, play Sterling right and try Borini centrally. This way Suarez with consistent ball givig away hopefully won't be as much of an issue also.

Sterling has been very very good

He has. Gerrard and Suarez have been bloody awful. Everyone else has been pretty decent, Sterling has been very good, and Allen nice and tidy again.

Overall, we've done well against a to six side and we don't deserve to be losing. But we are and we'll see what we can do second half. Still think they'll get a man sent off, but as we all know, we don't have much else to throw at them from the bench.

**** me that was annoying to watch. Allen,Enrique and Sterling had excellent halves. Sahin looks lovely footballer but not doing much. Borini and Suarez welll.... Borini looks like he's going to fall over the ball every time. Technically he looks awful and 100% should not be playing out wide. Suarez is having one of the worst games i've seen him play, nothing is going right for him.

We look great possession to a certain point and then absolutely toothless up top. Arsenal have in Mertesacker & Jenkinson. two absolute donkeys that we are not taking advantage of.

Yet another costly mistake by Stevie... these are getting far too regular.

Gerrard and Suarez have been poor

It is easy to see why Sahin didnt figure too much for Real. He has the same top speed as Alonso, slow. There is no way you would want to pair both of them in midfield

Yes, I agree. Even Suarez on the right and Borini in the middle seems more natural.

Someone I'm watching the game said "How long can Gerrard live off his reputation" I couldn't find anything to say back because he's been awful once again. The times he's frustrating me most is when he gives the ball away, he shows no interest or desire to want to get it back.

Joe Allen has been the stand out again for me. Borini looks a little clueless around the box and Suarez is having another mare in terms of keeping the ball and first touch.

Gerrard should be held responsible for the scoreline. He is getting far too comfortable. Didn't even track back...well he did...but it was a slow paced jog. Rogers needs to teach him his place in the team isn't guaranteed regardless of reputations. Its time he earned his place and if he keeps making mistakes then someone else should be given a chance.

Arsenal have been excellent. Very solid and Diaby has been a beast for them. I think we're playing well but obviously lack that cutting edge. We could pass all day long but we won't score.

On the plus side. Sterling is a real talent, our best player with Allen who's been fantastic again. A real rolls royce of a player Joe Allen. Sterling's reading of a game is fantastic; knows when to press and when not. He's been our most threatening player this half.

I can't see us creating more chances or more quality chances than last year, so our lack of goal poacher is very worrying. First game for Sahin so I think he's feeling his way into the team but he needs to impose himself more.

First touches poor, passing poor, shooting non exsistent.

We don't have someone who could change the game from the bench either, so we're just going to have to hope something happens.
