It's imperative we get numbers in the box in that style of play so in a sense, we're going to concede like this on the counter attack against quality sides.

It's tough for him because it is his first game, but Sahin needs to stick his foot in. Allen has been bright going forward, but when he does Sahin is left as the holding midfielder and he needs to be more physical, that's why we are being opened up too easily. We also look a bit anxious in possession, but we are going to need to go forward now as we are behind. Time for Rodgers to earn his corn.
Btw, I don't think that was a penalty on Sterling, but when the ball broke to Borini, the keeper definitely fouled him. Webb is the ref though, so no pen...Comment
