I'm glad the true victims of disaster are finally being acknowledged.... And that **** is not one of them!!!Originally posted by dom9 View Post
Basically he's admitting he's a gullible crap journalist for believing it.
Was it the Mirror a few weeks back that said they where asked to run with the story but refused because when they did background checks it didn't check out???
What a complete ****ing ****!!! He really has no shame - is ste Cohen going to be next???

His credibility is totally shot now.
Playing the victim card just takes him to a new low. If he had wanted he could have delved deeper into this story at any time over the last 23 years discovered the truth and reported it that way. Waiting for the verdict and then issuing an apology renders it meaningless.Modifying post.

If I remember rightly the Daily Star, The Daily Express & the Liverpool Echo all ran stories reporting similar storiesOriginally posted by Pablo1981 View PostSo he's playing the victim now? Unbelievable!
What was the other paper that ran a similar story? I think there was a link somewhere in this thread to it?
But all those papers stated something along the lines that "sources claimed" or "sources alledged"
His paper peddled it as the "Truth"
The other papers also hastily retracted and apologised for their stories the following dayBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
