It's good to see Assaidi involved but the bench is lacking in attacking options which I guess reflects the squad as a whole. But I would have thought we could have stuck at least one of the attack minded youngsters on there, Suso, Morgan or Ngoo etc

If Enrique is nursing a knock. He shouldnt be on the bench. Having Carragher is enough defensive cover. Suso should have made the bench

Enrique doesn't offer enough offensively and Rodgers need his fullbacks to be much more involved in final 3rd.

The problem is that really need to improve our striking options first but if we would have some more money I'd think he'd go for an offensive-minded LB.

That ****er Buttner from United looks pretty good and he cost under 4m

Maybe, but IIRC didn't Rodgers say that in light of our small squad, players may have to play if they have a slight knock.

If Enrique is out why not give Robinson a game at LB? he's looked a decent prospect and could do a job, it also keeps Johnson on his better side.
