    Henderson gets bypassed more than Charlie Adam, lets runners go and can't/doesn't tackle.. I have no idea what makes you think he'd be better defensively than Allen who gets stuck in.

    As for Henderson's form towards the end of the season, it wasn't great, not as good as Shelvey's at the minute and its easy to play when the season is all but over. Pressure is off.

        Henderson was our worst player for actually attempting to make a challenge, he is defensively poor.

          I think henderson has only played about five games for us centrally but hes been good in every one of them. Rodgers wanted rid of all of kennys signings so thats why carrols gone hendo he wanted out and downings not playing today.

            I'm a big fan of Henderson, but in no way would I advocate playing him as our defensive midfielder. Pure madness.
