Players we would miss most atm:

1: Suarez - Best source of goals
2: Reina - Not his best at present but our only good keeper
3: Allen - Only one of our numerous midfielders who looks good in the anchor role
4: Agger - Makes the defence look so much better
5: Johnson - Lb or RB he's out best full back by a mile and his ability to switch flanks has helped us a great deal
6: Gerrard - Whilst we have players to cover, he is still the captain and the player everyone looks to in a crisis.
      Forwards.......

Suarez - main attacking threat and can make things out of nothing
Allen - been great since he signed
Agger - best defender by a distance IMO
Lucas - makes us so much harder to break down when he's playing
Reina - needs to up his game and I think he will but there is no other viable option at the club.

The funny thing is, I don't think we'd miss Gerrard much. A Lucas, Sahin and Allen is possession football heaven. Gerrard needs time to fit into the system.

I think I intended to add 'consistently' to the sentence.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

It appears Lucas is more valuable to us when injured.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Well, there's that too I suppose.

Looking back through some of those posts some we're saying Allen would be missed. he's hardly been seen & hardly missed but it's easier looking back now isn't it.

Ha ha, I think people forget just how good Allen was for us in those early days. That's why I think a lot of people will be disappointed if/when we don't sign a big 7ft DM in January.

                          When is Allen back anyway?
