its really good to see that there are several players that can be considered as important to us. it wasnt so long ago that we were almost a one man team and struggled if a key player was out.
we used to be so reliant on gerrard, carra and torres. then later on lucas and suarez.

the quality of the first team has definitely improved, and we have a few squaddies that can plug the odd holes as they occur.

    wrt the change of goalkeeper...
yes, pepe was great at sending the ball out quickly, and was an asset in helping to start quicker counter attacks, but only occasionally did this result in a goal and crucial points. he had a few brain fart moments that definitely cost us points with some very sloppy keeping and lapses in concentration.
i am much happier that mignolet is a better shot stopper. if an attacker is bearing down and gets in position to score and maybe rob us of points, there is a better than even chance that simon will save our asses.
goalies need to save, first and foremost. the other stuff is just gravy.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I meant not kicking and in from his hands SB. He's throwing it to a player in his own half rather than to an opposition defender. Don't think I ever want to see him try and dribble it around an opposition forward unless totally necessary

I love the excitement of keepers who like to dribble around strikers. I thrive on that excitement.
