Aside from the scoreline and the refereeing decisions I thought our performance today was really good.

Im gonna wait until we play at least ten games before judging rodgers but clearly two points from five games and three defeats in the first five with no win isnt good enough.
Its important that the players understand the system but its more important to win. This isnt youth football where the emphasis is on style and player development.

We were all hoping the results wouldn't go the way they have at the start of the season, but we all knew that they could. They pretty much have gone as badly as they could have, but the team is showing more than enough to suggest we will fly up the league soon enough.
Arsenal were a disaster at the start of last season and still made the top 4. Not saying we will get that high, but this is early days. We bossed Utd until they were ref assisted.

I imagine with we'll start putting some points on the table and then really getting into it after January (if we buy a decent striker!).Originally posted by Zapater View PostThat game was indeed a horrible experience, but ****, you people are a bunch of drama queens. Rodgers, FSG, Borini... who's next?
The table makes for bad reading, but it's 5 ****ing games, not 35.
Then again I didn't see much today that would suggest a better striker would make the difference. Was muß, das muß.

**** it - 1 point from 9 against the 3 title contenders but at least those games are out of the way now. We'll win some of our next games and we'll settle in some more youngsters. Rodgers will make an opportunity out of a crisis, we'll muddle on playing well a lot of the time but not putting teams away clinically until January when we'll buy a striker (amongst others). We'll have tightened up a lot at the back by then and we'll climb up the table till May. We won't be top 4 but we'll strengthen even more in the summer and next season we'll see a Rodgers LFC going for it and winning.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

We've been ****ed over by yet another Ref but the performance is there. We outplayed the runners up with 11 and 10 men.
The start to the league has been as difficult as it could've been imagined when the fixtures came out,we've 3 winnable games coming up before we play Everton,Newcastle and Chelsea.
We need points on the board asap and some luck to go for us for a change.

Ok, but I repeat, who do you blame for it?Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostDont get me wrong he is a good player and i like him but £11m was maybe £5m too much.
You said FSG haven't backed Rodgers but you reckon they were willing to overpay for a player he wanted. It looks like a contradiction..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I like the way we play, i like the youngsters being promoted.
BUT
2pts after 5 games, the worst start since 1911 and we have only 5 wins in 2012 - it's a downward spiral, and for me the blame has to lie with FSG.We come not to play.
