Last week Suarez is denied a clear penalty, in fact he is booked for it.

At OT Welbeck dives - penalty given. He also gets away with a leg breaker. Yellow card.

Today for a 2nd week running Suarez is not given a penalty after being fouled in the box. At least he wasn't booked eh.

And they go up the other end, Valencia dives - penalty.

Shelvey - red card for a tackle nowhere near as bad as Welbeck's last week. And Evans lunges in, two-footed and off the ground, and gets away completely unpunished. It stinks, it stinks like ****.

Over the years it seems to have been relentless. Mascherano's joke red card at OT, Gerrard being sent off for a tackle almost identical to one Rafael committed just seconds before and got away with, Berbatov's pathetic dive which naturally saw a penalty given, the joke pen given when Valencia was "fouled" outside the box, he took a few paces into the area and miraculously fell over. It's a ****in joke.

I think it really is down to the Fergie factor, he has too much power and rather than running the risk of crossing him he gets what he wants every ****ing time.

Fwiw, I thought we were excellent when it was 11 v 11, really dominating the game and looking bright up front too. Even after the sending off, and with the subsequent injuries, the players didn't hide and that was encouraging.
