I can't believe how much we controlled that game and lost it. That performance from Halsey was as corrupt as I've seen from an official. Absolutely scandalous.
Man Utd were so poor. I still feel we lack penetration, but everything else was there in patches.
So frustrating that you can see the signs of progress, yet we haven't picked up a league win come the end of September.

Couple of decisions in Europe in midweek too. Penalty in their favour, penalty not given etcOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostHaha that just gave me something else to rage about.
Last week Suarez is denied a clear penalty, in fact he is booked for it.
At OT Welbeck dives - penalty given. He also gets away with a leg breaker. Yellow card.
Today for a 2nd week running Suarez is not given a penalty after being fouled in the box. At least he wasn't booked eh.
And they go up the other end, Valencia dives - penalty.
Shelvey - red card for a tackle nowhere near as bad as Welbeck's last week. And Evans lunges in, two-footed and off the ground, and gets away completely unpunished. It stinks, it stinks like ****.Football without Origi is nothing

Last season when we lost to Arsenal at Anfield, we played valiantly and should've come away with the victory. That match had a totally different colour to this one but still I thought that was a turn for the worse in our season. We looked utterly deflated after that result. For that reason, I sincerely hope this result doesn't have the same impact on the team that it did last time. Ultimately, I think there are a number of factors ensuring that that probably won't happen (i.e. it's much earlier in the season, not as decisive a match, BR can rally the troops, etc). Still though, we badly need to bounce back.
