I think that's unfair on Henderson; he's grown in to the game after a few early mistakes and is complementing Sahin very well.

Henderson has been playing the lucas role, it's a thankless task.

With Allen, gerrard, Lucas, sahin, jonjo, suso, hendo all going for central midfield spots things are looking good...,, maybe time to play gerrard as a centre forward and go with Lucas, Allen and Sahin as our midfield.... Gerrard with sterling and luis buzzing around him!!!

There are some players that you really take to and wish success on more than others, often for no reason. Coates is one of those for me and I think he's developing nicely. We've introduced him really well and it looks to be paying off.

Nah Sahin is just having a stormer, he is doing what a CM should do which is dictate the play. Henderson,Pacheco & Downing for me have been fairly quiet. Coates and Assaidi playing very well too IMO.
