First game I have been able to watch since the man city game, and what a great effort. I know Norwich is not the best of opponents, but I think our transition play was very very good and we created a lot of chances. At times we had trouble closing down properly, and left a lot of room for Norwich in the middle of the pitch, but it's looking like going in the right direction.

Really pleased to see our youngsters getting the chance, Sterling and Wisdom did well. I think we will have a great team in a few years time with the youth coming through.

Don't know if we will get in to the top-4 this season but I def. think we will give it a very good push this year.

And as said sign Sahin asap!

That's impressive. Even more impressive really with 17, 18 and 19 year olds in the team.

Let's be realistic. Norwich are playing terrible and are defensively poor and without Suarez it wouldn't have been so one sided. It was a good win though. I've always backed Suarez to come good as a regular goalscorer for us and still believe he will. He was immense today. The young lads do us proud every time they play now. We won't be anywhere near top 4 this season but the last couple of games are a great platform to build on. This season is going to be very interesting as Arsenal, Spurs and Everton looked to have improved their squads and we are not far off their level.

Pass stat is nice, but we have no idea about the angles, areas of the pitch they were made etc. Comolli isn't here, you don't have to wank yourselves silly over numbers anymore.

Whats the song we have been singing the last few weeks to the tune of 'were gona win the league'
                          -----------------------------------------------

'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.'

                          Bill Shankly.

Who's wanking themselves silly? It IS an impressive stat in the sense that it suggests we're growing into the system that Rodgers wants us to play and starting to execute it well.

The most important stat is obviously the 5 goals, but we've not exactly had much to cheer about recently so this sort of thing adds to a sense of positivity regarding the future. Well it does for me anyway.
