Very Badly advised ... if Sterling was bad .. at least that little **** has had a ton of time in the senior team ... making demands before you have made it never a good idea

Maybe he is part of the Aidy Ward stable......

I would have no problem giving him £20k per week............as long as it was performance related....so basically you are on £1k per week basic, if you start a game you get another 4k per week, if you score a league goal you get another 5k....... so you get a hattrick and there is your 20 ****in k........

These pricks are what is wrong with the game. You have fellas in organisations like SoS then that are marching down ****in streets looking for ticket reductions but in reality the game is already toxic.

I remember reading a few years ago that Nathan Ecclestone was on 3k a week with us. 150k a year!!! The guy had one cameo appearance i think..... it really is a joke....

We have no idea what the offer is/was. Don't see how we can support any strong opinion on this. The club seems to be taking a strong line in contract negotiations (I'm thinking about Skrtel's agents comments earlier in the summer) which is bound to face some push back.

Agree, could well have been a type of deal he wasn't looking for. It's likely to do with him facing an uphill struggle to get first team footy this season.

But let's see, it might still pan out nicely in the end. But from the Sterling saga, I think we've learned to tackle this type of scenario early and heads-on. No need for the distraction, much less from someone on the peripheral of the squad.
