    Is the correct answer.

Like he said Chacal, it's not an example of poor man management at all. You have no idea how he explained to Crouch his decision, and I've already explained the Gerrard one, you just chose to ignore it.

This thread is about man-management - communication. You're confusing a problem you have with Benitez's overall management of the team's tactics with his ability to communicate the reasons he's doing it to individual players. The latter is the point of this thread.

      Southend 1 - 0 Man Utd
      Birmingham 0 - 1 liverpool

Man utd still to qualify for the second phase of the champions league, liverpool qualify with 2 matches to go. Utd have started strongly but they have an old spine to their team a couple of injuries over a long season will slow them considerably. Lets see where we are at the end of the season eh, and leave the sweeping comparisons to one side.
      Excellent post.

Also, Crouch has alluded to the necessity of team rotation on several occassions, commenting that "in a team like Liverpool, you are always going to have to sit some games out" and that he is simply happy to be part of the side. As far as I can tell, he is happy and enjoying his football WHENEVER he plays, that is not an example of poor man-management

That is poor management and man-management.

Now DJ you can go back to talk to your Manure friends and understand what im talking about (Ferguson is absolutely spot on with his team selections)...
The list of people telling you you're wrong on the man-management thing continues to grow. But never mind, you're upto your ears in sand.

          Perhaps it's a language thing...

Perhaps, perhaps...we're 9th in the table 14 points behind manure. Rafa's management was poor this season. The man-management stuff is debatable but is pointless.
We lost the title already. Thats not debatable
            Is that a language thing?
