You still haven't figured out the difference between a manager making tactical decisions for the team and his ability to explain the reasons why he's doing it to individual players - which is man-management. You may not agree with Benitez's rotation strategy but you have provided absolutely no evidence that he has failed to communicate the necessity for doing it to our players.

Like he said Chacal, it's not an example of poor man management at all. You have no idea how he explained to Crouch his decision, and I've already explained the Gerrard one, you just chose to ignore it.

You're confusing a problem you have with Benitez's overall management of the team's tactics with his ability to communicate the reasons he's doing it to individual players. The latter is the point of this thread.

Utd have started strongly but they have an old spine to their team a couple of injuries over a long season will slow them considerably. Also, Crouch has alluded to the necessity of team rotation on several occassions, commenting that "in a team like Liverpool, you are always going to have to sit some games out" and that he is simply happy to be part of the side. As far as I can tell, he is happy and enjoying his football WHENEVER he plays, that is not an example of poor man-management
