Allen stood up well to Fellaini when you think about the size ratio. Anyway, it wouldn't have been as important for him to do so had we been passing the ball well like we normally do. Its like we gave up Rodgers philosophy today.

Massively impressive today, proper little footballer who worked and got stuck in all day.

to be fair that guy can dominate most people in the world because of his sheer size and muscle, yet 5.7ft allen was like a terrier with a bone.

Enrique did OK. Was at fault for one of the goals but on the whole, he was OK. Can't see him in the side week in week out though. But as a back up left back, he will do until we can bring someone better.
              Are we winning?

Skrtel was great at the back, Suarez was fantastic. Surprised at the half time changes, don't know if they blunted Everton so much as Miralles having to go off.

Still - the three CB's managed to stop anything they had. We weren't really troubled in the second half.

In the end, LFC played ugly and managed to get a point from the derby and it should have been 3. Maybe we can do more than just tiki taka.

After today I don't know how someone can think Allen can be a DM for us long term. Our midfield got dominated, and barely passed the ball, Allen barely touched the ball. He worked his socks off but it doesn't mean it was a pretty sight.

We need Lucas back as soon as possible.

Sick to death of this, whether its endless incompetence or cheating, I'm sick of it. We won that game and we get one point for it. Disgrace.

Was saying it about Skrtel all pre season when some wanted him to go.. Or thought it wouldn't be loss. He's equally as important as Agger for me, who was also exceptional today.

But he isn't supposed to be a long term DM. I think he's doing a marvellous job given its not the job LFC employed him for.

which is why had it been any of our others players putting it in the net, it stands.

Ah very true he worked his Ass off and tried his best I'm a massive fan but he got dominated and bounced around by fellaini.

Overall though, derby games are just crazy football. Glad we survived with no injuries, red cards, and some pride.

We created chances in that second half. The changes we made at half time, which had to be made, meant we were conceding that it was going to be a scrap, and given that I think we really did a good job in the second half. It wasn't pretty, but Sterling should have scored, we had a couple of other half chances, and then the disallowed goal...

Credit to Rodgers for changing the things he did imo.

Our kids all looked like kids today. Jones... scares me. Punch was poor for their first. And Enrique was so static for the second, he worries me too, although his second half was ok. And Sahin was never in the game. I'm not convinced about him in this league yet,

On the upside, Agger & Skrtel fought hard all game, Allen is boss and Suarez, well, I would love it if he'd had that moment at the end. He's great.

Objectively, I'll take a draw away at Everton. But it should have been 3 points.
                                Sums it up for me.
