He hasn't been lazy. Ineffective, what do you mean by that? We were controlling midfield for large parts of the game and Gerrard was one of the reasons we were doing that. That's not what I call ineffective. He pushed forward into the box once or twice as well, but the ball didn't get to him.

Because players at the top level should easily be able to play twice in a week. How do you think we coped when we played in the CL?

Yep I thought that was a poor decision. It looked a bit as though Rodgers had written off the cup tie anyway... so why play one of your most important players who so clearly needs a bit of time off? I dunno.
