Downing has always been wank, I was literally shocked when we signed him.Originally posted by vonk View PostEnrique wasn't that bad. He got forward as much as he could. Lucas, Johnson and someone to help Luis and we'll be alright. I think Shelvey needs a kick up the arse for that cameo. Could have won the game but seemed totally out of it. Give up on downing.

Wisdom has been poor the last few games, and for somebody that is supposed to be really a centreback he's not very commanding in his aerial duels out wide, and that doesn't bode well for moving inside to the centreback position. We need Johnson back asap.
On the game itself we did enough to win and we would have done if the players (yes you, Shelvey) had shown a bit more composure, even though on far too many occassions we didn't get enough men in the box. Gerrards set pieces were woeful, and he had a pretty poor game all round.

Shows that we're improving steadily. We're not that far off. Just need a couple of attacking players, Walcott and maybe Huntelaar? Then, get in a defensive midfielder and a left back and we'll be alright.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostOn the plus side, this is our longest unbeaten run in 2012Are we winning?

Wisdom isn't actually that tall. He's surprisingly short when you see him up close. Not saying its an excuse, just saying he's wide, not tall.Originally posted by BootRoom View Post

I really like Shelvey, I want him to succeed sooo much and he's already a good player, just hope he doesn't turn into a bottler... Look at ****in Macheda, he's always been absolutely **** and yet he's won United the title when it was the hardest. Jonjo, on the other hand, has already had a couple of howlers like the one today.

I don't think three was intent either but red cardv four dangerous play is fair. Nowhere near three ball and no need to have the boot/studs so highOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostPardew saying he didn't think the (red card) challenge was too clever, but that there wasn't any intent
But accepts the decision, and refs have a tough time.Football without Origi is nothing
