    Chelsea (A) Build Up

Well, it's only four (nearly 3) days away now.

    -----------Reina
    Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique
    -----Gerrard Allen Sahin
    ---Sterling Suarez Assaidi

*If Johnson and Reina are fit enough

Would by my team of choice.

Really worried about this one, especially with our defensive problems at the minute. We best hope Suarez has a blinder!
The times they are a changin'.

I think we will have our moments but get beat convincingly.

I'm expecting Torres to score against us and Chelsea to take advantage of the space between our defence and midfield.

Like last season, that's where teams had the most joy against us and Mata/Hazard with Torres dropping deep could only hasten the pain.

              We'll get battered eh?
              Are we winning?

I fancy we'll get something from this, not sure why but we seem to raise our games against the bigger sides but fail to do it against the sides we feel we should just turn up and beat.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That's been the story of the last 15 years.

Having said that I can't see us getting anything from Sunday.

If they keep Suarez and Sterling quiet then that's pretty much our whole goal threat taken care of whereas they have shown the ability to get goals from many different areas.

I think we will get done on a set piece.

Oscar to rip us a new one?

Hard to muster up any positivity about this one. They'll pick us apart, we'll have a decent amount of the ball, but offer little threat. It seems inevitable.

Jeez, what a negative and depressing thread.

I see no reason why we will not rip them a new one. We basically rested the first 11 this week. Luis is on fire. That is more than enough for us to beat them

                          Bring it on!

The thought of Oscar, Hazard and Mata drifting around the acres of space our midfield leave is frightening.
                            I'd pick
                            Reina
                            Wisdom Skrtel Agger Johnson
                            Gerrard Allen
                            Sterling Shelvey Assaidi
                            Suarez

I wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers went -
                            Reina
                            Skrtel Coates Agger
                            Johnson Gerrard Allen Sahin Enrique
                            Sterling Suarez.

Chelsea play through the middle so match up 3v3 and with Sterling up alongside Suarez we can exploit the space down the flanks that their full backs will leave when they join in.

The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I think if we defend well we have a chance - I think they have not been as fluid in the league in recent weeks. I'd back Suarez to give Luiz a difficult day. We are clearly second favourites but I think the doom and gloom is excessive.
