I'm closer to Niall Quinn's opinion on Erique here - lot of the ball but not a huge amount of impact on the game. I think a big problem is the Sterling/Suarez strike partnership without a more proactive attacking threat in central midfield. Sahin takes some nice positions but he's been wasteful on the ball.

Terrible tactics. Midfield totally isolated from forwards. Defenders retreating under pressure. No width whatsoever.

i think to an extent we've let him get isolated out on the wing. if he beats one of his men, there's never anyone for him to move it one to, so instead he has to look at beating 2 or 3 players.
