Enrique was really good. Just his final ball and decision making let him down at times. He is a bit hit or miss because sometimes he does something brilliant (makes a great run, or plays an amazing pass to Suarez) and then other times he will make a strange decision like the way he tried to head to Henderson and such. He is good though, I think he was our most likely to score.. He gets in the right areas. Was impressed by Enrique on the whole.

I'm not overly upset about the result, WHL seems to our bogey ground at the minute. But if we don't win on Saturday I'll be seriously worried/angry.

Oh and BR needs to give Assaidi, Sahin, Shelvey and Suso a chance to start PL games. He also needs to realise that Henderson and Downing shouldn't even be on the bench for league games let alone starting them.

He has no one to blame but himself. Playing a "failed left winger" at left back and a "failed left back" at left wing as someone has just said. His decisions are starting to worry me.

Yeyyy, another change, manager merry go round, how exciting.
            Are we winning?

Think Henderson and Allen in CM will do before we see Lucas back. Think it gives us a wee bit more balance in midfield.
Henderson was poor mate, we need much better than him, he doesn't offer enough going forward and his defensive contribution consists of standing in front of someone and nothing more.
Allen was better today, but I do think he needs a bit more in his attacking game.

You could see where we're going with that performance. Bar the result, it epitomises Rodgers' style. Total control, patient passing and excellent pressing. We will get there once he's brought in his players, but the key will be on how well he buys. Let's hope it's not another disaster in the transfer market.

I'm really optimistic for the future now. We aren't letting our heads down and getting on with the work. Gutted about the result though.
i agree with this. Once Lucas comes back we should be able to control mudfield a bit better & plug some of those gaps between midfield & defence.
But ultimately we need more fire power. If we can put away some of the chances we create then it puts the opposition on the back foot & us with plenty of space to exploit! So this window BR must make the RIGHT choices & get the RIGHT players in!

Does Rodgers know how to set up a team defensively?

No, it was a clear foul.

Downing as a left back is one, so what if he did ok he was at fault for the first goal because he does not know the positioning required by a left back

His decision to play Enrique left wing has been one of the best decisions. I think Enrique has been great
