Had Rodgers had a choice (and a pair of balls) i believe he would have kept Maxi, Bellamy and Kuyt - they may have not set the world alight last season but they would have given us some strength this.

Oh really??! We beat Dortmund that's a good sign. I'll have to keep tabs on this next-gen. Aye I've got hope. We are in a far better shape as a club overall than we have been in the last 3-4 years anyway. You can see potential for growth, whereas a few years ago it was like we'd hit a brick wall.

That will leave us with Borini as our only striker. We need to buy a striker/s more than AM's.

Successful teams aren't solely reliant on goals from strikers. We need more options up front granted, but we don't have any goal threat coming from midfield at all.

Yes but strikers are a priority, tbh I'm amazed that it's even being debated, as I've already said we have 1 striker who deserves to start and people are saying we should be focusing on buying an AM.
