Surely that's one of the questions you ask before you date her?Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostI went on a date with a girl about a year ago. We got on great and had a really good time which lead to a second date. On the second date football was brought up and it turned out she supported the scum.
THERE WAS NO 3RD DATE!
I asked this of a girl at university, she said The Reds, been married 9 years now
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
Batman
F*** off!!!

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Well I've been going to Anfield for nearly 50 years and I can tell you they're talking bollocks. There have been plenty of times when there was no atmosphere even when we were massively successful. I can't remember if it was the late 70s or early 80s (it was a while ago anyway) but we were so dominant at home that people expected comfortable wins and attendances declined because people were basically bored by success and we were getting gates like 38000. People complained of no atmosphere at games.Originally posted by baitman View Posti was speaking to a few guys from northern ireland who came over for the match. one of them said he has been coming over for nearly 40 years, almost once a month, and he has never seen Anfield so quiet and subdued. no real singing, people having a sleep.
he mentioned there were a couple of occasions when players were through on goal and could have had a shot but the ball was turned back and passed around. they felt like the flair and excitement has been stifled out of the team.
There's nothing new under the sun. Our fans have very short memories, like to moan and whinge about how we play compared with the good old days. It's always been the same and it always will be. I saw plenty of crap performances and experienced crap atmospheres many times in the sixties and seventies, believe me
