I don't think the first goal was Reina's fault, it was an immense well hit shot that clipped the inside of the post and was hit very early.

I saw the play building up with Benteke not being closed down. Fair enough I thought as he won't score from there against any premier league goalie even if he shoots. Then a supposed premier league goalie fails to stop what was effectively a sidefoot attempt.

No knee jerk I'm afraid, that was very poor from Reina. Normally not an issue as every goalie makes them. Then you remember how many Reina has made.

That is because we still obviously lack enough quality in our team.

Maybe, but both goals were soft. As are so many of the goals we concede. To me, there is a lack of defensive organisation and tactical awareness. It is a naive way to play with lets face it, some pretty experienced players out there (bar Sterling and Shelvey).

We seem clueless in the final third of the pitch. Shelvey has been terrible,as has Sterling and Suarez. This Villa team is the worst we have played this season and yet they are 2 up....I can't see us getting back into this.

Anyone blaming Reina for either of the goals needs their heads examined. The first goal Benteke was not closed down,in off the post,the second was terrible tracking back from Allen I think it was.

He needs dropping.
