Downing is having his best game for a long time.

Last two games we've seen Gerrard get close to goal and into the box and he's scored two goals. We are getting acres of spaces in the CM but we're pressing and closing the space from the forwards which is refreshing. Shelvey and Suso been bit quiet.

Best i've seen Downing play and Enrique looks a man possessed, unreal engine and solid defensively. Should have been 5-0, surely Fulham won't come out as lax as that in second half. A good thumping would be a great way to go into the christmas period

All credit to Downing as well. Very fluid and impressive first half that. More of the same please, then when their full backs are proper tired bring on Sterling to rip them a new one.

Yeah, Suso hasn't been great, but Gerrard has been very good. Downing was excellent that half.

Think Fulham made us look good. Don't think our tempo wasn't that high and you can notice that from the crowd being so quiet. We played better last week first half against Villa.
