Its not just solely about having quality players its about competing for possession.

The same villa who have had 12 put past them in the last 2 games.

What plan would you suggest? Our major is still goals and that lack of goals leads to issues as we end chasing games which we would not have to if we could put the ball in the net more often.

We are conceeding far too many also

It's the lack of ideas, intelligence, cohesion & fight, not just the lack of quality that are concerns.

Absolutely You don't need a team of Brazilian internationals to string more than three passes together.

Worst performance of the season. Worse than Aston Villa. Stoke came out ready and we looked lost. Anyway, they say the darkest hour is right before the dawn.

Our defence and midfield is piss poor IMO, if teams have the sense to press us w will lose most of the time. Buying Sturridge wont help with that. I have no solution but IMO we are just sinking.

yep, there's a problem, no doubt about it. There was a lack of desire to win that game.

I've said it before, but we're stuck in a void. We don't have good enough players to just 'turn up' and win games but we have the mentality around the club that we do. It needs to go. We need to start properly battling.
