        Their first goal, ok, it was a bad slip but the way Kenwyne Jones lost Agger for the second was just too easy.

        So every week there's always individual erros. At the end of the day, you have to say that it's not just bad luck ad there's maybe a real lack of confidence and belief in the squad.

          Has anyone thought about the number of games we've played as a contributory factor to our inconsistency? We've played 31 games, more than any other team. For instance, Stoke played 10 or 11 games less, which could explain their much better stamina tonight.

            We need to play the game at a much higher tempo, our tempo at the moment is pedestrian, we've have no movement and we wait for the ball to come to us rather than going to the ball.
            The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

              Can't agree with the Kenny and Hodgson comments. Yes some of the passing was slow and off target, but our previous two managers did a piss poor job.

                They were ahead by 15 mins. I don't see how we were ok when we 'gave up' after 15 mins.

                    Disappointed to say the least. Rodgers should never of got the job, He might be a nice bloke n all but chatting to media for for an hour and palling up to them isn't what we need, hes not good enough .. The team needs a major overhaul and not just at youth level we need quality and experience.
                    Again the absent owners of LFC have let down the fans, how much longer do we have put up with this crap .. and really, I doubt bodging up Anfield to fit in some corporate boxes is no way to go ..

                    Just saying ...... Breathe 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 ... ahh thats better...

                    What really narks me is we had a world class manager and we let him go and then took the piss some more ...

                      Exactly, BR is trying to clean up a mess while simultaneously trying to play a style of football that his current crop of players are not capable of executing but may pay off in the long run. Tough position to be in.

                        In isolation this result would mean little. Stoke can do that to teams. They play different rules down there. My worry is that we're not getting any better. Suarez aside we're playing with less heart. We're very disorganised and disjointed. The problems are a lack of quality players and a manager who isn't getting the best out of what we have.

                          The issue is most certainly the midfield. We are headless chickens without and structure. We need a leader and a creator. We have zero direction or shape. We need more players with real quality. Other than Sterling I honestly dont think there is much there to build a top 4 finish on.

                          Downing - he is out of here.
                          Sahin - If he has it he is really good at hiding it

                          We are thin as **** arent we?? No wonder we are up **** creek at this stage...the worst squad for many many years imo.

                            very confused by people claiming suarez and enrique "tried" so thats makes it okay?!? enrique although not a bad performance once again tonight took so so so so so long to make a pass and when he did it was always rushed to a player under pressure from the oppo. and suarez again although he is a master at it tried to many times to run through players and hope for a nutmeg or two. i thought both players were just as bad as the rest tonight yet not as bad as jonjo.

                            downing and suso played decent at least and offered bits and peices going forward and chasing back

                                Do you think that perhaps we couldn't get our passing going because the Stoke players didn't give our lads a chance to breathe when they had the ball ??
                                The Britannia is the toughest ground in the PL apart from OT, it was a **** game and BR's persistence with Downing, Cole and Shelvey is a slight worry but we'll all feel better if we beat QPR.
