****ing hell mate, the fact is BR wanted a CF and that was Dempsey. My point is not about WHO the player was but the fact that his target was not signed. Dempsey is ****e and I am happy we did not sign him, but that fact that we did not sign another CF has cost us. Even if he had scored a few all well and good for us, I don't rate him.

Supposed to have cost us just under £4.5m + wages.. We could have used that money to bring in Dempsey for example, we haven't even given the lad a proper go which is frustrating.

Who would he have played instead of? Sterling I guess?

Or Suso or Downing - depending on which of our line ups you look at. If nothing else having a player who looks to go directly at goal from a wide starting position would have given us greater variety. He's not bad at holding the ball up either. I guess if Borini had stayed fit some of those things would have been covered.
