The stuff about him being selfish etc. I do wonder if its just the city personnel and fans being bitter about the way he left them.

Well we've seen it (in terms of being selfish on the pitch) - admittedly you never watch oppo players as closely as your own but he's very much head down and spurns good passing opportunities in favour of taking often ridiculous shots. But we'll see. I'd love to be wrong, and having read that I'm excited

No doubt about that. I think he is a Milan Baros Type of Footballer with the on pitch atittude of Cisse.

As for Man City fans, he left there when he was only 19 after just ~25 games. I'm not sure their opinions on him should really be taken as gospel now.

I remember talksport doing an interview with one of his uncles when he moved to Chelsea. Basically saying the above....said he was a very lovely fella and had an unshakeable belief that he wasd a top top striker.

Nice one. Obviously we'll all get the chance to judge for oursleves now, but the early signs are that he's not the person many made him out to be.
