I just saw Daniel Sturridge. I don't think I like him, but if he scores goals, whatevs.

He was walking towards me and you know when your brain does that "Where do I know him from...?" thing when you see someone off the tele? Well, he was looking right at me as I stood on the corner, so I said "Alright?" and nodded. He shot me a "Do I know you?" look back, decided he didn't, ignored me and sassed up the road with a gangster rap gait, jeans hanging off his backside and a bright red woolly jumper. Nod to the biggest club he's ever played for, no doubt.

Dirk would have said hello back, I know it.

Are you sure it was him?

So it could have been anyone who wasn't 6"2.

Anyone who wasn't that height but still had Daniel Sturridge's face.

Actually thinking about it, I might have said "Alright Dean?"

How are people getting Daniel Sturridge and Dean Saunders mixed up? I know they are both strikers but Saunders is welsh FFS!!!
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

                  How old are you, Rowan?
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Old enough to know better but young enough not to care.

                      Or something like that anyway.

He's just picked up the keys to a brand spanking new Hyundai Santa Fe, with all the bells and whistles!

                            2 in 2

looks to have an understanding of sorts with Luis

will get goals but needs a better right foot

however a good start to his time here

Lively when he came on with good movement and pace.

Should have scored a 2nd and made a couple of poor decisions when in the box but the link up with Suarez was encouraging.

Looking forward to seeing Sturridge, Suarez and Borini playing together.

Commentators kept talking about him shooting from tight angles when better options are on. Been there, done that. Nothing usually comes of it. I'd rather he keeps shooting thank you very much.
