Unsubstantiated personal rumours
I'd like to provide some clarity on this site's position with relation to threads like the recently removed Agger one.

As Liverpool fans we have no business spreading or propagating unsubstantiated rumours of that type about our own players, we've all seen the damage this sort of thing has done to the likes of Gerrard and Fowler in the past, its horrible to think it might be happening again, or that this website might play even the most minor of roles in that.

The fact that the thread was not removed earlier was an oversight, and will not be occurring again. From now on it is the stated policy of est1892 to remove with impunity any such threads containing damaging or potentially malicious personal rumour about the players of Liverpool football club which do not have proper sourcing (ie report from a respectable media outlet). Such things are quite simply not wanted on this forum.

There is an open copy of this thread in the feedback forum for comments, but this decision has been taken and will not be changing
