That's how it reads to me. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Really hope it is an injury and he overcomes it but I worry that he's not got the desire or application to improve.
That's bollocks. There are no rumours that he's 'a lazy ****er', all the rumours are that he is seemingly unable to train and play owing to fitness issues, potentially of his own state of mind's making admittedly

The fact that Klopp isn't mentioning this directly is good. Who gives a **** what a bunch of semi football fans whinging on the internet think? I'd much rather it sorted in-house than have the slavering twitter generation pacified until the next witch hunt

Whether or not he has the desire or application is in question for sure, but for a player who on his day is potentially one of the worlds best to purposefully ruin his entire career because of laziness sounds a smidgeon unlikely to me
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

If you draw a parallel to Jon Flannagan who has been injured for just as long and whose injury we really know nothing about, then you realise the main difference here is the importance of Sturridges job in the team. If Sturridge were a left back, or if he'd been adequately replaced we wouldn't be having these discussions.

As things stand we don't know all that much other than we are absolutely desperate to have him back in the team.

Agreed. Plus, with Origi and Ings also being injured at the same time the emphasis on getting a fully fit Sturridge back is even greater...

I have faith that his injury concerns will be sorted and he'll be fully fit for next season.

I dont. He's lazy as **** and an excuse maker and Klopp is fully aware of it. He'll either "get it" and start pulling his finger out, or he'll be gone.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him leave if they actually do offer that much (and we can find a replacement Klopp approves of…and he actually passes a medical )

He won't pass a medical. There's no way they'd pay that.

THIS is Gods plan for our Daniel.

He's a fantastic talent but if this was to be true, it's only because Klopp has deemed him to unreliable for the next seasons. And hopefully these funds will make it possible for us to recruit a SUPERFIT GOALSCORING striker.

He could, just not 5 medicals in a row. And I reckon plenty of clubs would pay that especially with the increased tv revenues.
