                I thought that he was back in training and the reason he wasn't playing was because he hadn't been able to train for 10 days straight, have I missed another injury?

                          I guess if he needs a day off, the next session he can do is his return to training. He's probably had a dozen of those in the last month

                            My understanding was that Klopp thought that the situation was ridiculous so he wanted him to do a proper "pre-season" (mid-season) before he joined the group.

                            Although we have missed Daniel (imo the 1 point we got at home to Arsenal and ManU would have been 6 had a fit Sturridge been leading the line), i think if DS is to have any chance of a proper LFC career, then Klopp has done right by him.
