The deeper part of the midfield is real problem IMO we obviously want to play two there and 3 further forward, but no combination of Henderson, Milner, Can and Lucas seems to work, which leaves us with 2 other options: 1) we drop an attacking midfielder for someone in a deeper role or 2) we bring someone in who can play alongside one of those to make an effective two man system. I guess what could influence that decision is how threatening Sturridge or a new striker is, if our striker is on fire and banging in the goals then dropping at attacking mid may not be so much of a problem, but if we are struggling for goals reducing that threat further could be a real problem.

The midfield situation has me wondering if all bets could be off regarding who stays and who goes in the midfield in the summer.
that midfield balance has been off for years now.

With a minimum two midfielders coming in, there will be a minimum two going out. Don't think he'll be sold but he won't be an automatic starter either. I think we'll see the following

New - Can - Henderson - Grujic, in that order.

Lucas will either be converted to a CB or sold, Milner to be put down, Allen to be sold.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

To me it looks like he's not running full pelt out of fear of injuring himself again. Without that extra bit of pace he's not the same player.

If he's still uninjured at the end of the season I think it's time for us to cash in on him particularly as Kloppy only generally plays one up front.

Sell him and Benteke and sign one out and out striker to go alongside Origi and Ings.

It's unfortunate as when he's fully fit and firing on all cylinders there's no better striker in Europe

Ffs the guy's just come back from major long term injury.

He'll be here next season, needs a solid pre-season.

              He'd just injure himself again.

I can't find the video to link through - but this is a pretty cool marketing initiative.

Are you suggesting some cynical non representative marketing here?

I was surprised to see John Barnes working in subway.

                          But not that surprised.

Yep. None of them named either so can't be followed up. Funny that - usually they can't wait to add in details of how Ethel (73) from Warrington was overjoyed to be put through her paces, saying "I was only there to buy my grandson a Benteke shirt, and the next thing I was off my zimmer and doing burpees with Jon Flanagan" etc.

I know I'm becoming a cynical old bugger but I hate these fake "real" set-ups. Very little left that's truly real any more...
